A historic milestone has been achieved for water sustainability in Tunisia: BIAA-GROUP has successfully introduced the first Hydraloop water recycling system in Tunisia, and the first of its kind in North Africa.
This pioneering installation marks the beginning of a new era for smart water management, bringing innovative recycling technology to North Africa and demonstrating that sustainable solutions can help address some of the most important environmental challenges of our time.
Installed at Dar Mon Loisir, a residential vacation property composed of three apartments, the Hydraloop H600 provides an innovative solution to recycle and reuse water while reducing pressure on local water resources.
The motivation behind this project comes from a simple but powerful belief: water is the “blue gold” of our planet, and protecting it is everyone’s responsibility. In a region where water availability is becoming an increasing challenge, especially during the summer season, the owners wanted to take concrete action by reducing water consumption and creating a more sustainable experience for their guests.
Since its installation on April 16, the Hydraloop H600 has already saved nearly 3,000 litres of water, proving the positive impact that innovative technologies can have when combined with environmental commitment.
This achievement represents much more than the installation of a machine. It is a first step toward promoting water recycling solutions across Tunisia and North Africa, inspiring businesses, institutions, and communities to rethink the way we use and preserve water.
A dedicated seminar is currently being planned by BIAA-GROUP and Hydraloop to showcase this milestone and discuss the future of sustainable water management, bringing together key stakeholders, including experts, institutions, universities, ambassadors, and sustainability leaders.
